Angels from above?

by Brianna G. Harte

How often, I wonder, do angels come down from above? To shine across the world in different shapes and forms, to give us hope, to share good news? There are some people walking on this Earth, who have talents beyond the scopes of our imaginations . . . and backgrounds that surprise the world. They bring attention to issues under tension because of religion for what they show captivates us all.

A homeless boy, working day in and day out without a family, a place to live. No one to love him, not a safe moment of live. And yet, his voice brings him comfort. Sharing his wondrous gift with the world calls out to people, forces them to consider those on the streets in a different view. Rather than hobos or those that have given up, perhaps they work harder than the majority of people on Earth. Their hope stays strong, though.

A young girl, with the sound of a professional opera singer performs for the nation, has a transgender sibling. Support is what she gives, and loyalty is what she keeps. One can only wonder how such an incredible talent and a heart of gold could ever be seen in any light that isn’t bright from above.

The list goes on. And whether or not they are angels, they are truly gifts.
